Rappahannock County is a treasure trove of historic properties. Because the County is tucked in against the Blue Ridge Mountains, there are few grand old estates but there are numerous historic and fascinating old structures from the County Courthouse to restored old mills and cabins in the hollows. Sperryville and Washington have a high percentage of old structures and both are registered historic villages.

The home is a large farmhouse with a spacious front porch and an impressive 2-story side porch overlooking the village.  Inside, a careful restoration accentuates the historic charm of the 1900’s building.  Downstairs there is ample room for entertaining and relaxing and a large kitchen/dining area as well as a full bath.  Upstairs is a larger master suite and two more bedrooms that share the third full bath.
