Laurel Ridge Retreat SOLD
190 Gordon Clan Lane
Huntly $795,000 SOLD
If Monet had a home in the mountains it probably would look just like Laurel Ridge. Artistic in every sense, Laurel Ridge is set on a broad knoll atop Little Long Mountain near Flint Hill. Here the manmade structures seem to meld into the natural environment for a peaceful and harmonious retreat that respects nature.
The land itself is 71 acres of oak and poplar forest accessed by an excellently maintained road on Gordon Clan Lane, a private lane off of Little Long Mountain Road. Rocky and steep in places, the property is beautifully rustic mountain land that seems untouched by human hands.
TheLaurel Ridge home was built in 1988 and is in excellent condition. The improvements include an artful main house (approximately 1900 sq. ft.), (built in 1992) an open and airy guesthouse and several dependencies. Every structure is tucked into the forest and surrounded with low maintenance landscaping of native flowers, trees and shrubs.
